Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis Railway aka NC&StL, NC&Stl.L, ncstl,

William L Bianconi

This picture may have been taken about 1920-1924. Standing in front of the loco is William L Bianconi (Biney as his friends called him).  He started working for the railway in 1897 as he lied about his age to start work. (I hope he doesn't get in trouble now that the secret is out.) He retired from what was then the L&N in 1958.
