The NC&StL Preservation Society ("NCPS") was formed in 2001, and has adopted the following Mission Statement:

"The NC&StL Preservation Society will do everything in its power to promote the preservation of buildings, rolling stock, right of way and motive power; and collect, organize and preserve artifacts, history and information related to the NC&StL Railway along with the memories of those who made sure the trains got ‘to and from Dixieland’.

Furthermore, the NC&StL Preservation Society will educate the general public about the significant force for economic and political change that was the NC&StL Railway."

Contributions of articles and photographs are always welcome, as are comments and suggestions. This website will be updated regularly as additional articles become available and time permits.

NCPS is an all-volunteer organization, and it's impossible for just a few people to do all the writing required to add pages to this website. Won't you consider helping us preserve the memories of this historic railway?
